Description
The General (1927): Railroad engineer Johnny Gray (Buster Keaton) is refused enlistment in the Confederate army because his civilian job is too valuable. However, Union soldiers steal his train, "The General," to provision their troops in a surprise raid on the Confederates. Now it's up to brave Johnny and the love of his life, Annabelle Lee, to recapture The General, make their way back through enemy territory, and warn the Confederates about the impending threat.
Description
The Kid (1921): Edna hides her newborn child with a pleading letter in a limousine and leaves to end her tragic life. When the vehicle is stolen by thieves, they discard the poor child in a garbage can. When Charlie, the kind-hearted Tramp (Charlie Chaplin), discovers the child, he selflessly creates a home for him. After five long years, Edna has become an operatic diva but does charity work for disadvantaged children with the forlorn dream of finding her long-abandoned child. Edna contacts a physician who finds the letter revealing the truth about the Kid and brings officials to take him away from the loving Tramp.
